Apple is now deploying its new screen protector installation program to the United States and several other countries today. It was first reported last week that the program had began in Apple Stores in Japan. This program allows iPhone customers to get their screen screen protectors applied in-store. In the United States, customers can purchase any Belkin branded screen protector and get it applied by an Apple Store employee. The program currently only supports iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 6s, and iPhone 6s Plus.
The most compelling reason to get it applied by Apple itself is air bubbles. Which is something that appears quite often when getting screen protectors applied by hand. To get the full experience, the Apple Store employee will first remove any debris or dust that may be on the screen before applying the screen protector by machine. To take it a step further, if you’re unsatisfied with the look, Apple will replace the screen protector for free and reapply it. The service is available for free on all Belkin branded screen protectors.
