After capturing the market for smartphones by comprehensively, the Samsung Galaxy series is making an attempt to make its position stronger in the tablet industry.

Although the GALAXY Note series of tablets have received a better response than the series of Galaxy Tabs, the Galaxy Tab has provided a blueprint of tablets to many small companies. In fact, the Galaxy Tab S 8.4 is a widely recognized tablet of the present era. Meanwhile, the HP Omni 10 Tablet has set up a fair competition in the big-screened gadget market. So, setting the two devices side-by-side, let’s find some considerable reasons to invest your hard-earned money in tablets.

The front panel has the logo at the bottom panel and sensors, along with the front camera, on the upper section. On the rear panel, you can find the HP logo at the center and the rear camera on the upper-central position of the device.

In comparison, the Galaxy Tab S renders its traditional Galaxy design with curved edges and low quality body. Its front panel consists of the Samsung logo at the upper portion, along with the front camera, sensors and speaker. The lower section features a hard, Home button and two soft buttons. The rear panel contains the rear camera with LED flash and the Samsung logo.

Although Android is preferred by a majority of the users undoubtedly, the Windows OS is entering the trend by gaining the attention of prospective buyers. Overall, the popularity of Android in the industry of smartphones gives the Galaxy Tab an unparalleled advantage over its rival.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 Review
Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 Review Lisa Gade reviews the Samsung Galaxy Tab S, Samsung's latest high line tablet for mid-2014. We look at the 8.4" model in this review, and Samsung also offers a 10.5" Tab S. The Tab S 8.4 is nearly identical to the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, but it has two improvements: a Super AMOLED display for richer, more accurate colors and better contrast; and a fingerprint scanner embedded in the home button. The tablet runs on the Exynos 5 Octa CPU with 4 1.9GHz high power cores and 4 1.3GHz low power cores. It has 3 gigs of RAM, 16 or 32 gigs of storage, a microSD card slot, dual band WiFi 802.11AC, Bluetooth 4.0 and a GPS with GLONASS. It runs Android 4.4 KitKat with Samsung's TouchWiz UI and includes their multi-window multitasking and Pro apps bundle including Hancom Office. The 16 gig WiFi Tab S 8.4 costs $399, and the 10.5" Tab S with 16 gigs of storage is $499. They're direct competitors to the iPad Air and iPad mini with Retina Display. * Read our full written review here: http://www.mobiletechreview.com/tablets/Samsung-Galaxy-Tab-S.htm PT14M2S
