iPad Mini 2 comes with a 7.9 inches screen, whereas Galaxy Tab 3 comes with a 10.1 inches screen display. However, the iPad mini 2 display renders a much better resolution of 2048×1536 pixels whilst Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 renders a 800×1280 pixel resolution.

iPad Mini 2 comes with a dual-core Cyclone processor clocked at 1.3 GHz, an Apple A7 chipset and 1GB of RAM, whereas Tab 3 features a dual-core processor clocked at 1.6 GHz, an Intel Atom Z2560 chipset and 1GB of RAM.
iPad Mini 2 is available for purchase in 16/32/64/128GB internal memory variants, whereas Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 comes with 16/32GB of internal storage and a microSD slot so internal memory can be expanded by up to 64GB.
iPad Mini 2 comes with a 5MP primary camera with autofocus, digital zoom, face detection, HDR and touch to focus and a secondary camera of 1.2MP at the front, whereas Galaxy Tab 3 10.1sports a 3.15MP primary shooter with video calling capability and a 1.3MP camera at the front.
iPad Mini 2 comes equipped with a Li-Po 23.8 Wh battery that allows for up to 10 hours of multimedia play, wheareas Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 features a non-removable Li-Ion 6800 mAh battery that allows at least 15 hours of multimedia play.
