iOS 8 beta 5 update gets reviewed on iPhone 5s/5
Though nothing has been confirmed just yet, several tech pundits believe that before the final iOS 8 release in the fall, Apple might release one more iOS 8 beta for the developers to check for any serious bugs or issues.
In the first video that we’ve embedded below, we get to see the iOS 8 beta 5 review on the Apple iPhone 5s. Considering that beta releases like this mostly only have “under the hood” changes, there aren’t too many noticeable differences in this iteration of Apple’s operating system. Nevertheless, for what it is worth, the video showcases some minor additions in the settings and few new icons.
The video then goes on to point out a few differences with the Health app, iCloud and an overall smarter and more responsive Spotlight. According to the reviewer, iOS 8 beta 5 on the iPhone 5S feels a lot snappier than the previous iterations of the same OS, and includes a new predictive text toggle feature which is sure to come in handy.
In the second video that we have embedded below, iOS 8 beta 5 running on the iPhone 5 is reviewed, giving us an opportunity to watch how a two year old device performs while running on the latest operating system.
