Sony Xperia Z2 gets ranked #1 for mobile photography
Sony’s newest Xperia Z2 smartphone was able to knock down Nokia’s esteemed 808 PureView, which only had 77 points. The third and fourth spots were taken over by Apple’s iPhone 5s, and Xperia Z2’s older brother, the Sony Xperia Z1. Both devices had the same score at 76 points.
The score for Sony Xperia Z2 is 81 points, all thanks to its wonderful sensor that impressed the people at DxO with its crisp and detailed preservation of images regardless of the lighting, well-appointed noise levels, quick auto-focus, and amazing color quality.
In terms of video, Sony Xperia Z2 smartphone received a score of 73 points. It had decent stabilization, with minimal noise levels. However, the autofocus for the video was a bit dicey, along with the color shading as well.
